That SW is a Splendid KeyLogger - at least that is it's working name. As the name suggests, Splendid KeyLogger will be a system application capable of monitoring user's activity on a computer. Among it's functions, it should support following
- detecting user keyboard input
- detecting mouse events
- take screenshots on certain events
- monitor visited websites
- prevent some applications from executing (thus creating a "black list")
- track chat programs (ICQ, MSN) for both ways messaging
- be able to hide in TaskManager
- be able to restore itself after being "killed"
- generate HTML logs with images
- sending logs to email, FTP
- pass protect the logs and the program itself
- NO NEED TO INSTALL
This seems as a short list that shouldn't take long to implement, but believe me, it isn't that simple. Key monitoring a screenshot taking is pretty much done, but all interet functions are still ahead of me. I will periodically publish builds of this program, even some public alphas and betas.
As for the release dates of alphas / betas / final I don't want to make any promises - they might not be fulfilled. But I would love to release a "working and pretty-much-stable" version with most of the above mentioned functions 'till the end of this year.
As long as Splendid KeyLogger is in alpha/beta version, it's usage will be free of charge. Once It reaches final version, it will be made shareware. A haven't decided for a price yet, but I'm guessing about 15$.
Stay tuned
